Destructions

The war on Tigray has disrupted basic public services such as education, healthcare, banking, security, transportation etc. These disruptions were a direct cause of shelling/bombardments, drone attacks, looting, intentional destruction and exacerbated by the total lock down imposed on the region. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) had reported in March 15, 2021 that only 17% of the previous health system is functional in Tigray. The total communications blackout and security challenges have made it difficult to collect evidence.
