DISPLACEMENTS AND REFUGEES

In an attempt to ethnically cleanse the area, forceful displacement of Tigrayans in Northwest Tigray has been taking place at the hands of Amhara militia and Fano in an attempt to ethnically cleanse the area. Tigrayans that remained in those areas have been subjected to ethnic attacks, including harassment, massacres, and sexual and gender-based violence. Due to the communications blackout in the region, it has not been possible to collect personal information regarding the displaced victims. Therefore, news related to displacement and refugee status has been displayed instead.
